Biography

Rites to Ruin are a Traditional Heavy Metal band from South Wales and the South West of England. Formed in 2019, Rites to Ruin released their debut EP 'Fire' in 2021.

During 2020, Rites to Ruin capitalised on the online streaming growth to stream their first gig to an anticipating audience, as well as release the singles and videos for tracks Santanico and Forsaken.

Rites to Ruin were featured on BBC UpLoad in August 2021, across a number of their local radio stations including BBC Wiltshire, BBC Gloucester and BBC Bristol.

The band have continues to tour as often as possible bring their traditional melodic metal to as many grassroots venues as possible, being advocates for continued support of the underground scene

Rites to Ruin are in the process of recording their debut album, 'Daughter of Hatred' (produced by James Stevenson, Stymphalian Productions) due for release June 30th 2025.

The band have announced their first single off the forthcoming album. PREVAIL willbe released on May 14th 2025. Plus, Rites to Ruin have been added to the SOLD OUT Bloodstock Festival this year, performing on the EMP stage on August 9th.
