Biography

Rites to Ruin are a Heavy Metal band from South Wales and the South West of England. Formed in 2019, Rites to Ruin promise heavy riffs and soaring vocals guaranteed to get heads banging.

Rites to Ruin released their debut EP 'Fire' in 2021 followed by their first full length release 'Daughter of Hatred' in 2025 (produced by James Stevenson, Stymphalian Productions).

The band performed at the SOLD OUT Bloodstock Open Air Festival in 2025 that featured, Lacuna Coil, Trivium, Machine Head and Gojira (amongst others).

Rites to Ruin have been featured on BBC UPLOAD and across a number of their local radio stations including BBC Wiltshire, BBC Gloucester and BBC Bristol.

The band continues to tour as often as possible bringing their traditional metal to as many grassroots venues (or bigger) as they can, being advocates for continued support of the underground scene.
